The Richard Mille RM35-03 features a unique butterfly rotor mechanism, made of grade 5 titanium, that converts the wearer’s movements into the torque needed to wind the barrel. By pressing the push-piece at 7 o’clock, the rotor’s gears spread the two weights to a 180° angle, aligning the gravitational center and suspending the winding process. This prevents excessive winding and is accompanied by haptic feedback, allowing the wearer to feel the weight segments springing apart on their wrist.

Functional Features

With a winding indicator at 6 o’clock, the dial clearly displays whether the oscillating weight is active or not. Additionally, a function selector at 2 o’clock enables the user to switch between winding, neutral, and time-setting activities. These convenient features make the Richard Mille RM35-03 a highly practical timepiece.

The RM35-03 is available in two visually striking versions. The blue Quartz TPT® variation showcases a white Quartz TPT® case band, while the white Quartz TPT® and Carbon TPT® version boasts a Carbon TPT® case band. Both versions feature cut-outs inspired by the iconic RM 27-04 Tourbillon Rafael Nadal. The skeletonized movement can be admired from both sides through sapphire crystals on the front and back, offering a captivating view of the intricate inner workings.

Crafted with precision, the baseplate and bridges of the watch are made of grade 5 titanium with a grey electro plasma and PVD treatment, enhancing its visual appeal.
