2022 Ferrari 812 Competizione Red 300 Kilometers

Only 999 examples of the Ferrari 812 Competizione were ever produced, and it boasts an incredible technical record: four-wheel steering, a naturally-aspirated 6.5 V12 with 830 hp, 692 Nm of torque, a top speed of over 340 km/h, 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 s and an engine speed of up to 9,500 rpm… The technical record is simply astonishing. Thanks in particular to the use of lightweight materials such as titanium for the connecting rods and DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating for the cams and pistons, the vehicle is considerably lighter than the 812 Superfast used as a base: the newcomer weighs 38 kg less. Performance is also enhanced by a recalibrated seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, which Ferrari claims is 5% faster than that of the 812 Superfast. Aerodynamics have also been totally revised, with appendages specific to this version: a carbon blade splits the hood, and a unique front air intake (for the first time on a Ferrari V12) is installed in the bumper to maximize engine cooling. The wheel arches are also equipped with air intakes to direct the air flow. Last but not least, an innovative vortex generator replaces the rear window on the Competizione version and a large diffuser.
